Sentidos Subjetivos da Violência Construídos Por Meninas Em Privação de Liberdade
Abstract
The present study aimed to understand the subjective meanings constructed by girls in deprivation of liberty about the experiences of violence lived throughout their life trajectories. The analyzes were guided by the approach of Historical-Cultural Psychology, based on the Theory of Subjectivity developed by Fernando González Rey. Thus, narrative interviews were carried out with three female adolescents admitted to a socio-educational inpatient unit. The analysis procedure was based on the formation of nuclei of meaning. Through the narratives, it was found that intrafamily and gender violence are connected with violence perpetrated by the State. This indicates that violence will not be resolved through the policy of mass incarceration, given that such logic contributes to the vulnerability of poor girls, especially black girls, with regard to intrafamily and gender violence and vice versa.
