Abstract

The present work is composed through the methodology of “escrevivência”, a term coined by Conceição Evaristo, which will present itself as a possibility of a writing-memory that, at the same time as it is of itself, is collective. From this, we work with the memories of a training in psychology intrinsic to the history of the Pretaspsi Collective, a collective initially composed of black women undergraduate in psychology and psychologists in which I participated in its emergence. Thus, analyses of the colonial epistemologies that are present in Brazilian psychology and their permanence as a racist knowledge unfold. The epistemicide and Eurocentrism present in the formation are questioned, as well as the stagnation in the face of these findings. As part of a path, the subversion of established knowledge is thought of through decoloniality and “aquilombamento”, both operating as a strategy of political resistance.
