Abstract

This study originated from an academic activity proposed by the Psychology course of the University XXX (XXX). After finding three articles of the researcher Liliam
Deisy Ghizoni (2013; Ghizoni & Mendes, 2014; Maciel & Ghizoni, 2020) the interest to dialogue
with the theme “Unrecognized Working Hours”, focus of this dialogue, was expanded. This
interview, carried out on November 28, 2023, aimed to analyze the qualitative research of the
professional and know his academic career in Social Psychology of Work. The narratives
provided in this material are of great relevance for the study of the psychological aspects
provided in bias of the journeys and the suffering of the Brazilian proletariat sector, as well as
their considerations on the future of research in Psychology, the possible coping strategies from
the impacts on the mental health of these employees, besides criticizing the mental illness in
universities.
