O Peregrino das galáxias
Criação de si como obra de arte e população de rua
Keywords:

This article interrogates how encounters occur between individuals experiencing homelessness and public policies, as well as the role relegated to art and culture in the care of the self and self-construction as a work of art among this population, who self-identify as peregrinos. The objective, through a cartographic bricolage between care of the self, decoloniality, and science fiction, is to propose a journey with a UFO method, traveling through scenes and images, accompanied by the interlocution of characters such as the peregrino Arlindo. Characters, scenes, and concepts are (re)imagined with the perspective of self-production, making it possible to perceive the need for conceptual and decolonial twists in the Foucauldian view of care of the self, taking into account a Latin American context and the situation of homelessness in Porto Alegre, which points us towards an ethical-aesthetic and political possibility of world-building from a "art of self peregrina."
