Psychoanalysis and Critical Criminology: contributions to rethink the adolescent who commit infraction
aportes para repensar o adolescente autor de ato infracional
Abstract
We aim to redesign the discursive horizon of the narratives that imprison the adolescent offender in a web that criminalizes and pathologizes them through racial criteria. We work with three Brazilian authors of the sociology of crime - Michel Misse, Gabriel Feltran and Vera Malagutti - to put them in dialogue with a Brazilian psychoanalysis, which revisits its assumptions and collaborates with the critical review of criminology. The idea of criminal subject, tension borders and selective practice of critical criminology, are added to the predicative naming and discourses of dangerousness and irrecoverability, coming from the psychoanalytic field. We conclude by the disjunction between subject and act, whose desiring interval, allows the critical of a supposed clinical criminology, operator of legitimacy for coercive technologies.
