Abstract

It aims to understand experiences of suffering and resistance by people identified with some oppressed groups, surrounded in the new conservative wave in Brazil. From a marxist approach, it debates concepts as subjectivity, consubstantiality and neoconservatism as a context for semi-structured interviews analysis with women, black women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The results points to youthness predominance in debate; complexity of situations of suffering and resistance due to different arrangements between sex, gender and race; stereotypes such as femininity required in women and economic and sexual exploitation of black woman's body; and the presence of religious and / or institutional arguments as a legitimation of public oppression. The structural character of the oppression against studied groups is revealed with universal and subject aspects intertwined and socio-historical conditions operating in these experiences. This scenario brings demands involving guidelines articulation and coping strategies implementation of different orders.
