Perspectiva decolonial e educação: reflexões a partir de experiências
Abstract
This article had the goal of doing a bibliographic study about the consequences of coloniality, its effects on the subjectivity of the wretched people, and how its influence impacts the pedagogic proposal of a country. It was concluded that coloniality still exerts its influence heavily both on the social structure, as well as on the thinking and being of the subaltern communities, including here the educational proposal, that dehumanizes and pacifies the students through a logic similar to what the colonizers used to dominate the colonized people, where only an authoritarian figurehead is the holder of all wisdom, therefore, being the only reference of what it is to truly be. We point the necessity of rebuilding the education through the participation of the people, based on their material, historical and dialectic singularities, where the students aren’t just objects to the education, but active actors of their own social constitution.
