Sentidos de moradia e produção do espaço: um estudo com a favela Santa Lucia (Belo Horizonte – MG)
Abstract
This article seeks to bring reflections on the production of space in the Santa Lucia favela, located in the south-central region of the capital of Minas Gerais, we understand that space cannot be taken a priori, only in its physical dimension; but it must be understood through its appropriation, which is permeated by what we call the meanings of dwelling, which in turn are constituted by encounters, affections, resistances, memories and conflicts. We seek to understand these senses and how they are crossed by the implementation of the Vila Viva Program in the locality. Understanding that the favela is a space-movement we could not opt for sedentary methodologies, in this sense we built, from previous experience of doing scientific with drifts, what we call dialogical walks, understanding that the walk, our most daily gesture, becomes an important tool in the studies of cities. From the perspective of social cartography schizoanalysis, it was possible to unravel lines and understand the daily life of that locality. We conclude that the lived city does not fit in the limits imposed by the planned city, it is necessary to include social (and spatial) practices in its making
