In the present study we discuss some discussions carried out in the research with young people from a school in Garanhuns/PE on sexuality, considering that this social marker is constituted by gender, class, religion, among others. Young men and women participated, aged 15 to 20 years. The research was carried out in three moments, in the first we conducted participant observation in the school context, in the second five workshops with the young people, a specific one about sexuality, in the third moment we did four semi-structured interviews. The results were analyzed from the thematic analysis, considering the intersectionality of the social markers mentioned above. We observed that LGBTphobic practices are very present in the school context, several situations of violence against students perpetrated by both students and teachers and school management. We reflected on the importance of the existence of a space where there is a discussion about sexuality and sexual diversity and school social responsibility.
