The objective of this article is to problematize the relationship between the city and urban processes in the construction of a corporeality: a body-that-knows and that is invested by the biopolitical about life and death in our cities. We deal with how biopolitical bodies in contemporary times are crossed by the logic of silencing or erasure, but also how these corporealities are conditions for thinking counterpowers and counter narratives. We organized the discussion in two axes: territory and subjectivity; and body-that-knows, narrates. The results point to the construction of vulnerability and knowledge production narratives in the city, building other corporealities and memories of the lives that inhabit certain territories marked by urban impoverishment and gentrification.
Keywords: narrativies; body; resistance; city.
