Study on perceptions of discrimination experienced in a sample of the population that uses SUS Primary Care, in the Rio Grande do Sul state. The aim of this paper was to analyze the intersection between race/color and sex/gender in the collected data. A comparison was made with results of a Brazilian research that used the same instruments, aiming to contribute to studies on the perception of racism. 521 users were interviewed in two cities, aged between 18 and 81 years old, mostly black, women, with a family income of up to two minimum wages and incomplete elementary education. The Explicit Discrimination Scale and a questionnaire of socio-demographic data were applied. Statistical analyzes were conducted comparing the four groups (black and white women, black and white men). Approximately half of white people did not identify suffering any discrimination.
