Abstract

To talk about politics, gender relations and student movements, it is necessary to recognize that school could be the appropriate environment to carry out this dialogue. However, sometimes there is resistance when this discussion is proposed. This article is the result of research that sought to analyze how the representation of young people involved with the topic occurs and the possible movements that can occur within the school environment, tensioned by high school students at a public school in Porto Alegre/RS. Similarity analysis was carried out with the corpus formed by the young women's perceptions using the Iramuteq software. The main results indicate that even though there is motivation on the part of today's youth, there are still obstacles along the way. These difficulties permeate questions about the conservative Brazilian reality, as well as the educational model proposed by schools today.
