RESTORING ENVIRONMENTS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

The objective of this article was to analyze the scientific productions of the last five years, aimed at university restoring environments. The guiding question was defined and the selection of the articles was made on the data base. From the 774 articles that were found, 15 remained as meeting the criteria. After the critical analysis, the composing before the literature took place, along with the elaboration of the flowchart. There was the primacy of international studies and the prevalence of the use of the union of Kaplan (1989; 1985) and Ulrich (1983; 1999) theories. The main characteristics of the environment were the presence of: vegetation, flowers, sounds of birds, animals and the absence of people. Benefits from the environment are the promotion of well-being, increased attention and reduced stress. This research made it possible to identify the physical aspects for the implementation of a restoring environment in universities.
