Abstract

This study aims to identify the scientific literature evidences of research carried out on normality at work, using psychodynamics of work as theoretical support. An integrative literature review was carried out, by searching for productions available in the electronic databases in the areas of psychology and health, in Brazil, during the period of 2010-2019. The sample consists of 314 studies, including theses, dissertations and articles. The results demonstrate that no studies were found that deal exclusively with the concept of normality in psychodynamics of work. It was evidenced the low frequency of the use of the term normality, indicating that this concept is not approached in isolation, and may be linked to others in the psychodynamics of work, such as suffering at work, defense strategies and recognition. The importance of further studies on the topic is emphasized, suggesting expanded searches, including international research, for comparison purposes.
