This theoretical study addresses the ontoepistemological implications inherent in the combination of Logotherapy and Psychometrics, considering the context of the construction, adaptation and validation of logotherapeutic psychological tests. The epistemological challenges related to the measurement of psychological constructs, the epistemological bases of Logotherapy and the contributions of Viktor Frankl's dimensional ontology to a psychometric perspective within the scope of phenomenological-existential psychology are analyzed. The study addresses a discussion on the phenomenological perspective on psychological tests, referring to the reductionist nature of the quantitative conclusions about human phenomena, as well as to the materialization, disciplining and ordering of human subjectivity.
