ANÁLISE DOCUMENTAL DA OBRA “OS SOFRIMENTOS DO JOVEM WERTHER” de JOHANN GOETHE

The present work is an examination of the work The Sorrows of Young Werther, by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and the representation of romanticism and suicide in its narrative. The methodological parameters for the realization were organized according to the precepts of document analysis: Identification of the document, nature of the document, author, date of writing/date of publication, place/region of publication, theme addressed in the work in question and the context historical, relating them to the theoretical fields of suicidology and phenomenology. Weaving a parameter with the work in the Gestalt phenomenological psychological clinic, we understand that it is complex to decipher a person's motivations for suicide, however, the metaphor contained in the work favors Psychologists and Researchers to carry out imaginative variations in search of the meanings for the act of suicide.
