Responsibility in the Lifeworld from the Perspective of Crisis in Husserl

The present essay aims to discuss how Husserl identifies, in the crisis of the sciences, the distancing and erasure of subjectivity and issues of human life, leading to a loss of meaning and lack of investigative foundation. In contrast to the notion of crisis, he offers the concept of the "world of life", grasped through the phenomenological attitude, in order to find in phenomenology the possibility of realizing the genuinely human ideal. The task and search for the means of its realization should be the goal of philosophers, in the intersubjective creation of a world guided by rational life and true meaning.
