Validity’s evidence based on the analysis of the internal structure was searched, reliability was verified through the alpha of Cronbach 0,91 and the omega of McDonald 0,91, indicating good accuracy rate for the instrument. As a result, the LSE is unifactorial, with explained variance 0,385 and composed of 20 items which measure what the construct suggests. Furthermore, the possible differences among sex, age, time of leadership, number of subordinates and nature of the organization were verified.
