Review: The Contributions of the Psychology of Entrepreneurial Work to Organizations
Abstract
This document summarizes The Psychology of Entrepreneurship: New Perspectives, published in 2021 by Gielnik, Cardon and Frese. The book is part of a Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology collection of the American Psychology Association on Organizational Frontiers. It is a collection of articles about the entrepreneurial phenomenon, covering cognitive, affective and cultural-historical perspectives, as well as biological and clinical ones. The chapters present contextualized discussions on the themes as well as limits and possibilities for researching entrepreneurship, in each of its respective paths. As limits, the chapters concentrate productions made in the United States and in Western Europe, making their use to be relativized to the Brazilian reality.
