Not All Days Will Be Good: Systematic Review of Individual Resilience at Work

Authors

Abstract

Resilience has been increasingly investigated, given its positive impact on the work environment. Thus, the aim of this study is to analyze the landscape of scientific production on individual resilience at work, with a view to presenting a current overview of studies that inspired the proposal of an agenda with new research possibilities. By combining a systematic review with bibliometric analysis, data were collected from the Web of Science. The results revealed a considerable growth in publications that began in 2002. Furthermore, it was possible to verify that the intellectual and conceptual structure of the field is structured around positive concepts, such as engagement and performance, and negative ones, such as harassment, exhaustion and stress. The study advances the understanding of the topic through knowledge of its conceptual and intellectual structure, identifying research gaps, in addition to elucidating future trends and opportunities

Keywords: resilience at work, resilience, systematic review.
