Abstract

Much is discussed about the accessibility and inclusion of the deaf person. This study aims to report the interface between music therapy, the deaf user of the Psychosocial Care Center and the interpreter of the Brazilian Sign Language. The proposed study refers to an experience report with a qualitative approach of a descriptive type, analyzed from the perspective of Phenomenology. Data collection took place through reports from the health professional (Music Therapist) of the Psychosocial Care Center typeIII, located in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia -Goiás. We conclude that the presence of the professional Interpreter Translator and professionals who have knowledge of the sign language in health services is of great importance, because communication is an indicative of life quality, therefore, communicating with the deaf is to promote assistance in the mental health area focused on the psychosocial context through music therapy.
