Abstract

This article presents to teachers and all those who are interested and committed to the inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), considerations involving concepts of Gestalt pedagogy and Gestalt-therapy that contribute to the effectiveness of this process, leading educators to reflect on the importance of his personal development and his vision of man, which will reflect on his relationship with the student. This relationship is a figure and not a background in the educational process. Education and inclusion are broadly analyzed with the aim of understanding what happens beyond the school limits. In order to understand the ASD concept, a brief history of the emergence of the term autism is drawn up to the present day. Aspects related to Special Education are addressed within an inclusive context, events and laws that were fundamental for the search for inclusion to happen.

Atuação profissional em Centro Municipal de Atendimento Educacional Especializado (CEMAE) pela Prefeitura Municipal de São José dos Pinhais. Experiência como docente de Ed. Infantil e Ensino Fundamental, atendimento e avaliação psicológica.
