Compulsory Telework of University Professors: Quality of Life, Organizational Support, and Mental Health
Abstract
This research aims to analyze associations and the impact between the levels of quality of life, mental health, and perception of organizational support on compulsory teleworking of university professors of a public institution in Amazonas. The quantitative method used involved the remote application of a sociodemographic questionnaire, the quality of life scale on compulsory teleworking, the mental health scale on compulsory teleworking and the organizational support ladder on compulsory teleworking from a sample for convenience of 84 participants. The main results suggest that organizational support significantly impacted four dimensions of quality of life on compulsory teleworking and mental health. It is suggested that organizations implement institutional policies and actions that provide proper organizational support and promote mental health, and quality of life at work .
