Abstract

Globalization requires organizations to adapt to constant changes, make structures more flexible, and to adapt their ways of working whilst seeking a culture of organizational learning. This study presents evidence of validity and adequacy to the Brazilian context of the full version of the Dimensions of the Learning Organization Questionnaire (DLOQ) through its application in five organizations. The study participants were 188 professionals, who worked in private Brazilian information technology companies. The instrument had 46 items on learning culture and data were collected online through a survey. Confirmatory factor analysis maintained the instrument's multidimensional model, and the reliability indicators were above 0.87. Network analysis showed strong correlations and associations between items in each dimension. The DLOQ appears to be a valid measure and a useful tool for the academic and organizational context, providing information that allows the establishment and monitoring of objectives related to learning.
